GA Satellite TV Service Reviews & Comments:
Worst customer service ever
by dlr on June 12th, 2008 on Advantage Cable Systems |
| I called Advantage Cable Systems to install HD Dish Network. A couple days later, the owner came and installed the dish, heads and connected the new HD DVR. He didn't have a receiver for the bedroom and said that he would get us one for the next day. Next day, nothing came. Phoned their office and asked that the owner call back. Phoned the owner's cell phone and left voice mail. The weekend went by and still no receiver. More calls, messages, voice mails and even emails. Not one answer... Monday, Tuesday and still no receiver. I threatened to cancel the whole deal and miraculously, the owner shows up at my work to hand over the missing receiver. He asked that I hook it up once home and to call him at a number that he will answer so that he can activiate the receiver. Once installed, I call the number and get a voice mail again! Called all other known numbers... voice mail! We finally contacted Dish Network directly who activated the receiver immediately... I still haven't heard back from Advantage Cable Systems and have no desire to talk to them anyway. Avoid them at all costs! |
